                        The L'Abbaye Collection: Part Two | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1732, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, seven hearts to semée, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 333; ESC 1196; Bull 1705; S.3698), clashed dies in obverse field, otherwise beautifully cabinet toned and lustrous, with traces of red wax in recesses, a most thoroughly pleasing and wholesome good very fine, scarce, especially in this state
