NGC UNC | Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixth Issue, 'Crown Gold', Half-Sovereign, 1592-1594, ELIZAB D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA, crowned and ornately-decorated bust left, rev. crowned square-topped shield dividing cypher, 5.59g, 9h, m.m. tun (Schneider I, 808-809; North 2009; S.2535), faint traces of smoothing before mouth and with some brightness to fields, otherwise residually lustrous and boldly struck especially to finest details of key devices, near extremely fine, rare thus, in NGC holder, erroneously graded UNC Details ~ Plugged (Cert.#8220504-001)
