Thomas Holt Gentleman was born in 1929 and is recalled by M. Adams in The Rhodesian Light Infantry's Commandos as a Major with the Air Force Despatch Unit (Parachute) dropping supplies. Having forged a career as a Civil Servant in the Ministry of Agriculture, he then worked as a Director for CSC Meat Importers.
