A fine gilt example, circa 1880-1901, crowned star mounted with laurel wreath and garter; the red velvet centre bearing silver crowned harp resting in shamrock sprays. Mounted on the base of the wreath, silver tri-part scroll inscribed 'The Royal Irish', three loops to reverse, some light wear to gilding, otherwise very fine
