Registered 1889 as a reconstruction of United States Gold Placers Limited which owned Cottonwood Placers, about 800 acres on the banks of the San Miguel River, Colorado. Newspaper reports of 1892 accuse the company of being a swindle following its bankruptcy in the same year. VF and scarce.
