1945 (13 Sep.) envelope, air mail registered originated from Rhodes Archangelos Village (Villaggio Arcangelos) to Athens (Greece) bearing 1943-47 2d. pale orange and 9d. deep olive-green (2) cancelled by Rhodes despatch c.d.s., the reverse with arrival (21.9) c.d.s. Cover initially transfered from Archangelos Village to Rhodes as the post office in the village was closed. Fine and rare. Sassone €7,000.
