Military Documents and Ephemera of late-Victorian campaign interest, comprising a letter from Field-Marshal Viscount Wolseley to a Mr. S. Donaldson, on War Office paper and dated 21 July 1874; two further fragments of letters signed by Wolseley, one dated 9 August 1886; a Lease of Ground document on vellum, concerning Bovisand, Plymouth, to the War Office and signed by Frederick Stanley as Secretary of State for War, dated 20 May 1878; a letter from Hugh Childers as Secretary of State for War, to Field-Marshal Sir Charles Yorke, dated 15 July 1880, regarding the proposed erection of a statue to the late Prince Imperial to be erected at the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich, second and third fragments only, otherwise all in good readable condition (5)
