Military Documents and Ephemera of Crimean War interest, comprising a letter Sir John Pakington (Secretary of State for War and the Colonies) addressed to a Mr. Blackwood, from the 'Sebastopol Committee Room', dated 9 March 1855; a Parchment Certificate, on vellum, relating to the enlistment and discharge of one Alfred Hunt in the 'Turkish Contingent Engineer Department', signed and dated 18 March 1856; a receipt for 525 Tunics and Overalls for the 13th Light Dragoons, dated 22 March 1856 and signed by the Commanding Officer; a Return of horses for the 4th (Queen's Own) Light Dragoons, dated 23 April 1856 from Scutari, completed in ink in all relevant parts, all documents in good sound condition, some minor creases and tears but perfectly readable (4)
