A Second World War Campaign group of four attributed to Major P. J. W. Wells, Royal Artillery

1939-45 Star; Burma Star; Defence and War Medals; Territorial Decoration, G.VI.R., dated '1947' to the reverse, mounted as worn, very fine (5)

P. J. W. Wells was transferred as a Captain to the 57th (East Surrey) Anti-Tank Regiment from the East Surrey Regiment on 28 November 1938, he appears on the Army Lists as a Major from 1939; sold together with spare campaign medals, a riband bar and London Gazette entry as well as a wooden box labelled 'Peter J. W. Wells Military Medals'.
