Dennis Joseph Bolger was from North Shields, Northumberland and enlisted on 31 March 1942 and saw service until discharged on 10 June 1946.

Three newspaper cuttings relating to Vivien taking the surrender of the German Minesweeper M607 bringing her to the Firth of Forth.
