Albert Peach, of Holywell in Flintshire, served with the 4th Battalion South Wales Borderers - this unit served exclusively in the Middle East during the Great War, first at Gallipoli and afterwards in Mesopotamia. Peach is recorded as dying at sea on 8 March 1919 and is remembered on the Basra Memorial.
Sold together with original card boxes for the campaign medals and 'O.H.M.S.' envelope, and a small file of copied research.
