Three: Captain H. G. J. Daubeny, Army Service Corps, who earned a brace of 'mentions' during the Great War

M.I.D. London Gazette 15 June 1916 and 24 December 1917.

Henry Giles Jasper Daubeny was born on 17 March 1893 and was commissioned from the Royal Military College, Sandhurst on 4 September 1912. Daubeny entered the War in France on 21 August 1914, his MIC confirms the award of the Clasp although at first it appears it was not approved. His Medals were sent to Granby Barracks, Devonport.

The lot includes the following:

Identity Disks.

(iii).
Royal Army Service Corps prize medal (Inter Coy Relay Race 1924), together with an epaulette, wound stripe and RASC button.
