India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Pegu (Wm Clarkin. 18th Royal Irish Regt) contact marks and edge bruising throughout, nearly very fine

William Clarkin was born in 1818 at Cork, Ireland. He attested at Galway on 16 December 1836 and saw service in China and is additionally entitled to the China 1842 Medal prior to seeing service in India. Clarkin was discharged on 24 June 1862 and was noted as being a Warder at a Military Prison between 1863-1888.
