Andrew Brand was born in Hampstead and enlisted at Stratford. He entered the war in France from 27 December 1914 and was killed in action on 27 April 1915, serving with the 4th Bn, aged 25. He was the son of Andrew and Isobel Brand, of 15, The Grove, Vauxhall, London.
