Albert Mooring was born at Surbiton and enlisted at Hounslow, he served in Egypt from 24 August 1915 and was killed in action on the 2nd/8th Bn. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. He was the son of Eliza Mooring, of 304, Ewell Rd., Tolworth, Surbiton, Surrey, and the late Levi Mooring.
