R.), pitting and edge bruises to the Victorian awards, overall very fine (5)
Note the roll notes a correction to the recipient's service number on the Q.S.A. with the original number reading '5189'.
Henry George Creasey served as a regular soldier throughout the Anglo-Boer War, leaving the military after its conclusion. He re-enlisted on 7 December 1910 and entered the war in France in 1914, being seriously wounded in action the next year. His wounds proved too serious and he was invalided from service on 20 November 1915; sold together with copied medal rolls, M.I.C. and silver war badge roll.
