British War Medal 1914-20 (S-9996 T.W.O.CL.1. E. Pawley. A.S.C.), missing riband roller, otherwise very fine

Ernest Pawley served in France from 28 March 1915, he was commissioned on the 1 October 1918 into the Special List. He is entitled to a 1914-15 Star Trio and lived at 234 Court Oak Road, Harborne, Nr Birmingham.

His MIC clearly notes the award of a Distinguished Conduct Medal, however despite searches this appears not to be the case.
