Sydney Thomas was born at St. Colliers, Channel Islands in 1880 and enlisted in 1896. Serving through the Anglo-Boer War he is listed upon the K.S.A. roll as being posted to India after the war. Thomas was later a Chelsea Pensioner; sold together with copied medal rolls and a Chelsea Pensioner service record transcription.
