(x) Royal Air Force L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R. (W/O. E. G. Hammonds. [509320] R.A.F.), minor contact marks overall, very fine

Edgar George Hammonds was born at Builth, Breconshire on 14 may 1909 and joined the Royal Air Force as Aircraftman Class II on 3 October 1928 with 'J' Squadron. Posted to the Mechanical Transport Depot on 23 January 1929 he served on for some time with the Royal Air Force, earning his L.S. & G.C. at some stage after 1937. He died in April 1989 at Romsey, Hampshire; sold together with typed research and copied service records.
