(x) Royal Air Force L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (334061 Cpl. A. Walkerley. R.A.F.), minor polishing, very fine

Albert Walkerley was born at Aston, Birmingham on 23 October 1899 and served with the 3rd Battalion, London Regiment during the Great War with service number 4543. His name does not appear on the R.A.F. muster rolls for 1918 suggesting he joined post-war. Walkerley was promoted Warrant Officer on 1 March 1940 and died at Buckingham on 10 February 1960; sold together with medal roll, M.I.C., R.A.F. seniority list and probate extract as well as a copy of the 1911 census.
