Army L.S. & G.C., V.R. (490. Pte. J. Sutton, 1-5th Foot), minor edge bruising, minor contact marks overall very fine

John Sutton was born at Bourne, Lincoln and enlisted there on 13 January 1859, being soon posted to India where he served for the next thirteen years. Finally discharged on 29 June 1880 he declared his intention of settling at Byker, Newcastle; sold together with copied pension documents and typed research.

Further entitled to the Afghanistan 1878-80 medal.
