Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (Ply. 21037 P. Allen. Mne. R.M.) very fine

Percy Allen was born on 19 December 1902 at Maybury, Woking and joined the Royal Nay on 12 April 1921. He was awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal on 20 September 1936. He served on Valiant from 26 November 1939 until he was discharged at the end of his second period of engagement on 11 April 1942 but re-enlisted the following day continuing to serve on Valiant until 15 May 1942, he was finally discharged on the 8 October 1945.
