Thomas Lewis Davies was born on 9 March 1875 at St Mary's, Pembrokeshire and he joined the Royal Navy on 9 March 1893. During the Great War he is noted as being on N. of Ireland until 30 September 1916, thence President IV from 1 October 1916-28 November 1917 and at Eastern Blyth Haven from 29 November 1917-3 April 1919 (British War Medal only).
