Stanley George King was born in 1894 and undertook his first voyage in October 1915 to Australia with the rank of Baker's Mate. Undertaking further trips to Australia and the West Indies he continued after the war with trips to India, New Zealand etc. King finished his service in March 1938.
A. H. King was given the number JX.427660 and was released from service on 2 September 1946. He lived at 16 Southwell Close, Ewell West, Surrey; sold together with an archive comprising:

Continuous Certificate of Discharge for Stanley George King.
ii)
Letter from the Board of Trade confirming his two medals.
iii)
Envelope for the BWM.
iv)
Gunnery History Sheet and Order of Release FR01 Naval Service (Class A).
v)
Assault Training H.M.S. Excellent Efficiency Assessment Card.

Box for WW2 medals.
vii)
Group photograph of a group of sailors from H.M.S. Collingwood.

Gunnery badge, sweetheart badge, minor epaulette and an unofficial Coronation 1937 medal.
