Otto Lewis Davy was born in 1887 and entered the war with the 101st Company, Labour Corps before transferring to the Royal Flying Corps on 10 August 1917. Serving with the 1st Training Depot Squadron as a Carpenter he transferred to the Royal Air Force on 1 April 1918 Davy lived to see the Armistice on 11 November 1918 but died only a couple of weeks later on 26 November 1918; sold together with an original R.F.C. cap badge and copied research comprising Commonwealth War Graves certificate and service record.
