Defence Medal 1939-45, with its named and addressed box of issue; King's Medal, G.V.R. with 2929-30 clasp (H. Moody), with it's London County Council slip of issue, good very fine, together with Commemorative Medal for the Marriage of Prince Albert and Princess Alexandra, 1863, Commemorative Medal for International Exhibition, 1862, both in white metal, the first drilled to 12 o'clock, overall very fine (Lot)

Dennis Keane was the son of Private Dennis Kean(e), Commissariat and Transport Corps and the father of Chris Keane, Royal Air Force who appears in a photograph (included with the lot) with his cousin Herbie Moody.

Herbie Moody served with the Barrage Balloon section of the R.A.F. during the Second World War and lived at 28 Abery Street, Plumstead, London; sold together with two annotated photographs.
