Frederick Charles Webb was born in 1888 and lived at 44 Truman Street, Nottingham before enlisting on 2 August 1916 at Derby. He entered the war in France on 6 September 1916 with the 3rd Battalion, remaining there until 5 February 1917. Post back to Britain for service with the 17th (Reserve) Battalion Webb remained there for the rest of the war; sold together with a copied medal roll.
