Arthur James Frost was born at Adelaide, South Australia in 1889 and was a butcher by trade upon his joining the Army in February 1915. At that time he was living at Henry Street, Payneham, South Australia. Embarked aboard the Geelong on 31 May 1915, he landed on Gallipoli on 4 September 1915. Having been transferred with his unit to the Western Front, Frost suffered trench foot in January 1917 and re-joined his unit in April 1917. He was killed in action on 20 September 1917 during the Battle of Menin Road; sold together with copied research.
