Afghanistan 1878-80, 1 clasp, Kandahar (B/1303 Pte. W. Brown. 66th Foot.), good very fine

William Brown was born at Bray, Berkshire in 1856, enlisted in 1878 and served with the 66th Foot during their famed campaign in Afghanistan soon after. He is noted as at duty in Fort by 1 September 1880, being noted as present for the Battle of Kandahar.
