Crimea 1854-56, 3 clasps, Alma, Inkermann, Sebastopol (Capt. J. Singer Rifle Bde), renamed, polished fine
A 'J. Singer' is entitled to a Sebastopol clasp serving as a Lieutenant with the Rifle Brigade. A James Singer who served as 1489 Sergeant Major was also entitled to Alma and Inkermann clasps whilst serving with Captain the Earl of Erroll's Company. There is no evidence for a Captain J. Singer serving with the Rifle Brigade and entitled to these clasps.
