Crimea 1854-56, 2 clasps Inkermann, Sebastopol (1714. Henry. Moseley. 28th. Regt.), regimentally impressed naming, heavy contact marks, edge wear, overall nearly very fine

Medal correctly named and clasps official, Inkermann clasp not verified on roll.

The Inkerman clasp is rare to the 28th Foot as much of the Regiment was in the trenches when the Russians advanced. Only around 100 men could be gathered by the Colonel and they joined the Battle on the Allied right.

Henry Moseley is confirmed to still be serving with the 28th Regiment of Foot in 1861 at Nuseerabad, India; sold together with typed research and a transcript of a British Army Index.
