1908-1928 Filanzane issues, a small study on pages including 1908 specimen 15c. carmine and lilac (3) and 1915 Red Cross 10c. +5c. strip of three, affixed to two separate pieces and tied by 'postes et telegraphs/collection/de/berne/madagascar' handstamps in red. Also two imperforate die proofs with blank value tables, one in blue and brown, the other in sepia and black, 1c. marginal showing dramatic double impression of frame (faults), various examples of 1908 and 1922 issues postally used including 1912 cover to Paris bearing 25c. (2), 1929 pre-printed envelope bearing 1922 60c., 1935 cover to Transvaal bearing 50c. (3) perfins and 'comptoir national d'escompte/de paris/majunga' cachet in blue. Also 1928 2f. booklet (no adverts) and panes of 5c. (2, one from each issue), 10c. (2, one from each issue), and 15c. (2 in green) - some faults to the blocks including toning as to be expected, pin holes and creasing in margins. A superb study of the design with mixed condition.
