Wyon, crowned 'Gothic' bust left, WW on truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblems in angles, edge lettered downwards, 28.25g, 6h (ESC 288; L&S 57; Bull 2571; Spink 3883), small nick to the neck and some faint hairline wisps to the obverse field, otherwise with a pleasingly uniform dark cabinet tone, handsome extremely fine example of this ever sought after type
