For the freedom of Jerusalem, three-stringed cithara (lyre), 3.35g, (Hendin, 1435; TJC, 274a) carbon-spotted to edge with split to edge of flan, otherwise darkly-toned with details and good fine to very fine

The Dr. Offer Collection of Jewish Coins, assembled by Dr. Daniel Offer (1929-2013) in Chicago in the 1980s. Originally catalogued in 1982 using Meshorer, Y. 'Jewish Coins of the Second Temple Period' Am Hassefer and Massada, Tel Aviv, (1967). Appraised at Sotheby's, April-May, 1999.
