(same)), lightly toned and lustrous, pleasingly-struck on obverse, some reverse details flattened but nevertheless an interesting and pleasant variant of a popular denarius, very fine; C. Servilius M. F., AR Denarius, 138BC, ROMA head of Roma in winged helmet right, star and wreath before, rev. C SERVEILI M F, The Dioscuri on horseback rearing in opposing directions, heads facing one another, each holding couched spear; above, stars, 6h 3.80g, (Babelon (Servilia), 1; Crawford, 239/1; RBW, 984; Sydenham, 525) bright, well-centred and struck, clipped at lower edge, slight die-wear on reverse, oxidising on edge of reverse portrait, otherwise good fine to very fine, (2)
