Late Roman Period (c. 300-410), Gold Finger-Ring, made of a rectangular sectioned strip, soldered to which are three strands of filigree, once beaded, between which are a series of paired punched dots, 5.55g, diameter: 22mm, width of band: 7mm, ring size approx. U, (cf. similar use of filigree on the hoops in the Thetford treasure, Johns & Potter 1983, cats. 10 & 12), the ring originally found broken in several places and heavily distorted, now restored, no precise parallels have yet been found making this an especially intriguing discovery, detailing very fine
