James I (1603-1625), Third Coinage, Half-Laurel, 1620-1621, Tower, fourth laureate and cuirassed bust right, small ties by value, rev. crowned square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 4.47g, 11h, m.m. rose (Schneider III, 90; North 2117; Spink 2641A), irregular flan with metal flawing in fields and strike flatness to portrait, with graffito in first quarter of reverse, otherwise fine to very fine in parts
