AVGVSTI F COS DESIG PRINC IVVENT, Gaius and Lucius Caesar togate, standing facing, each resting hand on shield, spears behind, lituus and simpulum above, C L CAESARES in exergue, 7.72g, 2h (Cohen 42; BMCRE 513-518; RIC I², 206; BN 1648; Giard 81; Biaggi 93; Calicó 176; Vagi 264), a scuff to rim at 5 o'clock and even circulation wear, otherwise a broader striking on a rich yellow-gold flan, strictly fine, but very rare as a contextualised British find
