"prisoners of war correspondence" "I am well" card with printed "prisoners of war camp/Thayetmyo burma" at lower left, addressed to Constantinople, showing fine circular "censorship stamp/Passed by Commandant/Date..../Signature or Initials/Camp thayetmyo/burma" in blue (Davis Fig. 54; earliest known usage), circular "postage free/p.c./prisoners of war" in black and arrival markings; a little stained. Extremely rare, only two of these Turkish cards from Burma known and the only one to have Burma censor mark. Photo
