1840 (22 July) entire letter from Preston to Sheffield bearing Plate 1a OC, with lovely plate wear; 1840 (8 Oct.) entire letter from Walsall to Shrewsbury with map of farm bearing QJ; 1840 (Oct.) envelope to London bearing PD; 1840 (Dec.) entire to Leith bearing Plate 5 ND; 1841 (1 Feb.) entire letter from Ulverston to Hawkshead bearing plate 5 RD. All with four close to good margins and tied by red Maltese Crosses, some faults though a good group (5 items).
