Seven examples: JI (Plate 1b), BC, JC, TG (Plate 4), IE (Plate 6), HG (Plate 7) and LD (Plate 8); also two entire letters, 1840 (Sept.) truncated entire to Peebles bearing IH, Plate 2 tied by crisp black Maltese Cross (oxidised), 1841 (20 March) to Hull bearing LJ, Plate 7 tied by black Maltese Cross. Condition very mixed.
