Note: The British inland card was changed in 1908 to a simplified design by deleting the line "the address to be written on this side". This card was never issued in the Bechuanaland Protectorate despite that a new order for Bechuanaland cards was submitted in 1908. When this order was filled, De La Rue overprinted remaining stock of the old inland card.
