General Sir Reginald Wingate (1861-1953)
1901-1949 Autograph letter dated 1901 arranging a meeting in Dunbar at the "Raj"; end of a letter signed; 1919 autograph letter giving a reference to the organiser of the Welsh Band in Egypt, signed by Wingate as "High Commissioner for Egypt"; a photograph inscribed on the reverse dated 1949; and a power of attorney signed by Lady Wingate, with recent colour photographs showing his home and grave.
An autograph note accompanies a copy of the "last photo taken of Lord Kitchener 5.6.1916" on board HMS Iron Duke at Scapa Flow before Kitchener embarked on HMS Hampshire that was sunk soon after (18)
