File of letters to Watson regarding his writing of the biography of the doctor to King George V, who is alleged to have ended the King's life prematurely. Watson's correspondents include J. G. Lockhart, Dean Alan Don, the Dean of Lichfield, Nurse Catherine Black, Osbert Sitwell, Viscount Samuel, Lord Addison, BMA, Royal archives, Sir Alan Lascelles writing from Buckingham Palace, suggesting amendments after King George VI had read a draft version, with a copy of the published biography (approx 125 letters)
