1948 Glass plate negative of a seldom seen formal photograph of Princess Elizabeth by Mountstewart William Elphinstone (1871-1957), brother of the 16th Lord Elphinstone who had married the sister of Queen Elizabeth (later the Queen Mother), Lady Mary Bowes Lyon. A recognised photographer, he clearly had access to the Royal Family through the family connection. In its original Kodak box (160x120mm)
