1837-1855 Group of 33 Admiralty Droits, issued at Falmouth. One of the wrecks mentioned is the Russian ship "Hesperus", which may relate to the famous poem by Longfellow. The purpose of these droits allowed the Admiralty to claim property and goods from certain wrecks lost or jettisoned at sea (with research notes) (33)
