1674 (7 August) naval warrant to "The Principall Officers and Com[res] of our navy", signed "Charles R" at head assigning John Perry as "Major Cooke" on "Our Ship the Revenge", "together with such allowances of wages and victualls for himselfe and servant as is proper and usual.". Countersigned "By His Ma[ts] Command, S Pepys". Foxed and laid on card though a superb combination of signatures
