The Robin Gain Collection of Samuel Pepys and Pepys Related Documents
George Monck, 1st Duke of Albemarle
1662-68, three letters or documents signed; 1662 with integral address panel "For the right ho[nora]ble Andrew Lord Retorfort Governor of Dunkirke" regarding a commission for two Irish Regiments to go for Tangier and to go with Sir Robert Harley's regiment; 1667 given at Whitehall to Lord Ashley regarding payment of goods received at Hull, also signed by Anglesey and Lauderdale (these two documents both 'silked') and 1668 letter also regarding payment (filing tear just clear of signature).

Also a six page pamphlet titled "The Speech and Declaration of his Excellency the Lord Generall Monck" and cut piece signed Albemarle alongside five other signatories including Southampton and Ashley.
