1874 (1 Aug.) envelope to Nancy, marked "Voie de Southampton", bearing 1d. Plate 150, 2d. Plate 14 and 1873-80 6d. grey Plate 13 with "A26" Gibraltar duplex cancellations (2 Aug.) alongside Tangier (reversed "n") c.d.s. of 1 Aug., red "PD" in circle and London Paid and black Ang. Amb. Calais (both 11.8) on the front, transit and arrival datestamps on reverse; the envelope with some minor faults on the reverse, fine and very rare. One of only seven covers recorded with the Tangier datestamp and the only one not addressed to Great Britain or Gibraltar. Photo
