1867 (9 Dec.) opened-out envelope to the Times Correspondent, The Field Force Abyssinia "Via Marseille" bearing G.B. 4d. vermilion and 6d. purple tied by Brighton duplex, bearing a fair strike of unframed "insuff stamped/via marseilles" in black with manuscript "4" in blue crayon, repeated on the reverse, "4 annas" with light strikes of "field force post office/abyssinia" (2.1) incorrectly struck in red and cancelled by a light strike of the barred "F.F." postmark and a second strike alongside struck in black. Light soiling and part of the flap is missing. Photo
